Continue to listen to a Thirty Minute Sitting Practice on days 1, 3 and 5 (Thursday, Saturday and Monday) using the play button on the left.

Practice Working with Difficulty on days 2, 4, and 6 (Friday, Sunday and Tuesday) using the play button on the left.

This week practise the 3-Step Breathing Space with some additional wording three times a day, at set times that you have decided in advance. You might also take a Breathing Space at times when you notice that you are having difficulty staying present or when you are feeling stressed or thrown off balance.

New Habits in Everyday Life.

When you can, use the 50:50 attention technique, Ten Finger Gratitude Practice, 3-Step Breathing Space, be more aware of a routine activity in everyday life, or walk mindfully.

Try increasing the number of kind and compassionate actions that you perform each day, and notice the effects on your body sensations, thoughts and mood just after you have performed these. Notice too that we don’t have to feel kind in order to act in a kind way and to experience the benefits of doing so.
